Your data, your call.
This Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the control you have over it. The short version: we collect as little as we can, we never sell your data, and anything you give us you can get back or delete.
1 · Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Audditude, a DBA of Hiatus Studios LLC ("we," "us," "our"), collects, uses, and protects information when you use audditude.com and its subdomains — including apps.audditude.com, atlas.audditude.com, and recs.audditude.com (together, the "Site"). By using the Site you agree to this Policy. We are based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA.
2 · Information We Collect
Information you give us. Your name, email, and any optional phone number or intake notes you provide when you book a session, subscribe to the newsletter, or contact us.
Payment information. Payments are processed by our third-party processor (Stripe). We do not receive or store full card numbers.
Screening & reflection responses. If you use Audditude Atlas, your answers and the report generated from them are yours (user-owned). You can export or delete them at any time.
Hotline voicemails. Voicemails left on the Audditude hotline are stored without identifying metadata — anonymous by design.
Information collected automatically. Basic, aggregate usage data such as pages viewed, device and browser type, and approximate location, collected through analytics cookies.
3 · How We Use Your Information
To schedule and provide coaching; generate and deliver your Atlas Record; send email you asked for (magic-link sign-ins, booking confirmations, the newsletter); respond to your messages; process payments; understand and improve how the Site is used; and meet legal and accounting obligations. We do not use your information for automated decision-making about you, and we do not sell it.
4 · Cookies & Analytics
We use Google Tag Manager and analytics cookies to understand aggregate traffic — which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from — so we can improve the Site. You can block or clear cookies in your browser; the Site still works without them. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
5 · How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that operate the Site, under agreements that limit how they may use it: Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), Supabase (secure data storage), and Google (analytics). We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of you, us, or others.
6 · Data Retention
We keep booking and account records only as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal or accounting requirements, then delete or anonymize them. You can ask us to delete your data sooner (see Your Rights). Anonymous hotline voicemails carry no identifying metadata and are kept only as long as they are useful.
7 · Your Rights & Choices
You can request access to, a copy of (export), correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@audditude.com. Your Atlas screening data is user-owned — you can export or erase it yourself from your account. Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/UK under GDPR, or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have additional rights; we honor these requests regardless of your location, and we will never discriminate against you for exercising them.
8 · Data Security
We use modern, access-controlled infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest, passwordless (magic-link) sign-in so there is no password to leak, and automated, encrypted backups. No system is perfectly secure, but we design to minimize what we hold and to protect what we keep.
9 · Children
The Site and Services are intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10 · Third-Party Sites & Subdomains
The Site links to third-party websites (including affiliate links on our Recommendations pages) and integrates third-party services such as Stripe. We do not control and are not responsible for their privacy practices — please review their policies. Our own subdomains (apps, atlas, recs) operate under this Policy unless a subdomain posts its own.
Audditude participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program; as an Amazon Associate, Audditude earns from qualifying purchases. When you click an affiliate link (on this site or in an Audditude app), Amazon may set cookies to attribute any resulting purchase. We receive only aggregate commission reporting — never the details of what you bought. See Amazon’s own privacy notice for how they handle that data.
11 · International Users
We are based in the United States. If you use the Site from outside the U.S., your information is processed in the U.S. We apply the rights described in this Policy regardless of where you live.
12 · Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted to this page, and we will update the "Effective" date above. Where practical, we will flag significant changes.
